Well, that confirms how big they want...which isn't very :)
I think it's awesome!
sigh...there goes my chance to become the envy of all others and attain the love of a lifetime...
But here's the thing - they say size 12-18, which elicits the response that they don't want very big women.
There are plenty of "real" women who are BOTH bigger AND smaller than their defined size range. By Hollywood standards, at a size 10 I'd be "too fat" to be on a show like The Bachelor, but...oops...I'm too SMALL to be on this show.
If I'm neither real nor fake, what the hell am I?

The show right below is the only reason I don't think I can trust this.
I think Joy Nash's "Fat Rant" about Reality TV, dating shows, and fat women is spot on:
http://fatrantblog.wordpress.com/2009/03/31/overweight-date/
I'd say it more simply and suggest that, in a misogynous, fatphobic world, there's no *way* this isn't going to be an offensive disaster.
Joy makes some GREAT points! It's like setting up the old cardboard box-stick-and-string thing and hiding behind a bush... how could getting ~20 fat women together--on FOX--possibly be a harmless venture?
Only sizes 12-18, eh? Must be the "acceptable fat rate" going around lately. Incidentally, when did a size 12 become fat/curvy? Yet another stupid "reality" show.
NEXT!
